The Chime Enterprise team was formed in 2024 after Chime acquired Salt Labs, an award-winning employee rewards and loyalty platform. Chime Enterprise is relentless in its mission to unlock financial progress for all employees.

Salt Labs was founded by Jason Lee and others who pioneered Earned Wage Access, also known as on-demand pay. After Jason founded Salt Labs in 2022, Chime acquired the employee rewards innovator in June 2024. Jason then became Chief of Chime Enterprise, with a mission to extend Chime’s suite of services to employers and their employees.

With a comprehensive and holistic financial wellness platform, Chime is now suited to unlock financial progress for everyday people through their employers by offering great financial tools, such as earned wage access, savings, financial coaching and credit-building activities.

As a Pledge 1% member, Chime has committed 1% of its future equity to fund the Chime Scholars Foundation, Chime’s non-profit organization that funds college, apprenticeship, and trade school scholarships, and is committed to providing financial education to over 10 million people by 2027.
