This new member offer (the “Offer”) to open a Chime Checking Account (and, if you subsequently become a Chime Card holder, a Chime Card Secured Deposit Account) (in each case, an “Account”) as a first-time Chime account holder and use your Chime Visa® Debit Card (“Debit Card”), or secured Chime Visa® Credit Card (“Chime Card”) (each a “Chime Visa® Card”) is provided by Chime Financial, Inc. (“Chime"). Your participation in this Offer is subject to these offer terms ("Offer Terms"). To participate in this Offer, you must open an Account through this webpage (“Offer Webpage"). Advertisements for this Offer will lead you to the Offer Webpage where you may enroll in an Account for this Offer. Offer is available until the earlier of December 31, 2026 or the Offer Webpage is no longer accessible as determined by Chime.

Offer Summary
You can earn up to $300.00 in total maximum rewards under this Offer when you open a Chime Checking Account as a first-time Chime account holder from the applicable promotional account opening webpage and complete all of the qualifying activities under this Offer. This Offer consists of three (3) consecutive Eligibility Periods as shown in the table below, each offering a $100.00 reward for completing the associated qualifying activities. For each Eligibility Period, you must (a) receive at least $500.00 in total cumulative Qualifying Direct Deposits (defined below) and (b) spend at least $1,000.00 in total Qualifying Purchases (defined below) with one of your Chime Visa® Cards.
Eligibility Period 1: Days 1 – 35
Must receive at least $500.00 in total cumulative Qualifying Direct Deposits AND complete at least $1,000.00 of Qualifying Purchases beginning on the day you open your Account (Day 1) through the end of day 35. All Qualifying Direct Deposits and Qualifying Purchases must be completed and settled by 11:59pm PT on day 35 to be eligible to earn rewards.
Eligibility Period 2: Days 36 – 70
Must receive at least $500.00 in total cumulative Qualifying Direct Deposits AND complete at least $1,000.00 of Qualifying Purchases beginning on day 36 through the end of day 70. All Qualifying Direct Deposits and Qualifying Purchases must be completed and settled by 11:59pm PT on day 70 to be eligible to earn rewards.
Eligibility Period 3: Days 71 – 105
Must receive at least $500.00 in total cumulative Qualifying Direct Deposits AND complete at least $1,000.00 of Qualifying Purchases beginning on day 71 through the end of day 105. All Qualifying Direct Deposits and Qualifying Purchases must be completed and settled by 11:59pm PT on day 105 to be eligible to earn rewards.
Eligibility and Earning Rewards
You must meet the following eligibility requirements in order to receive any rewards under this Offer:
- Invitation to participate: Receive an invitation from Chime to participate in the Offer via your Chime app, SMS text message, push notification, email, or advertisement to be eligible for the Offer. You may not participate if you did not receive the invitation directly from Chime.
- Open a new Chime Checking Account: Open a new Account as a first-time Chime account holder.
- Physical card activation: Your physical Chime Visa® Card must be activated before the end of each Eligibility Period in which you wish to receive rewards. You can activate your physical Chime Visa® Card before or during any Eligibility Period, but rewards can be earned only for Eligibility Periods during which you had an activated physical Chime Visa® Card.
In addition, during each Eligibility Period, you must:
- Receive at least $500.00 in total cumulative Qualifying Direct Deposits (defined below) into your Account;
- Complete at least $1,000.00 in Qualifying Purchases (defined below); and
- Have an Account balance greater than $0.00 for one (1) calendar day after the end of each Eligibility Period.
For purposes of requirement (c) above, your Account balance is the “Available” amount displayed in your Chime app and is determined after we apply any deposits or credits in your Account to amounts you owe under your Chime Deposit Account Agreement or any other agreement you have with us (for example, any negative balance created by Chime SpotMe® or other debits we are authorized to make). This means that if deposits to your Account are used to repay amounts you owe us, your “Available” amount may not remain greater than $0.00 and you may not earn a reward, even if you received sufficient Qualifying Direct Deposits during the applicable Eligibility Period.
Please note if you only have a Chime Checking Account, your “Available” amount reflects your checking account balance, inclusive of any negative balance permitted by Chime SpotMe and any other debits or credits applied to your checking account under your Deposit Account Agreement. If you are a Chime Card holder, your “Available” amount reflects the total of (i) your Chime checking account balance (inclusive of any negative balance permitted by Chime SpotMe), plus (ii) the balance in your Chime Card Secured Deposit Account (“SDA”), minus (iii) the outstanding balance on your Chime Card Secured Credit Account (“SCA”).
Rewards will accrue on Qualifying Purchases made during each Eligibility Period, but will not be earned or payable unless all the above Qualifying Activities are met. If any of the above Qualifying Activities are not satisfied at the time of the final eligibility check for an Eligibility Period, all rewards accrued for that Eligibility Period will be forfeited.
Your ability to earn rewards is assessed independently for each Eligibility Period. If you fail to complete the Qualifying Activities to earn rewards in one Eligibility Period, you are not disqualified from participating in or earning rewards during any subsequent Eligibility Period.
A Qualifying Direct Deposit is a deposit by Automated Clearing House (“ACH”) that comes from your employer, payroll provider, gig economy payer, or benefits payer or a deposit by Original Credit Transaction (“OCT”) from your gig economy payer. Bank ACH transfers, Pay Anyone transfers, verification or trial deposits from financial institutions, peer to peer transfers from services such as PayPal, Cash App, or Venmo, mobile check deposits, cash deposits, one-time direct deposits, such as tax refunds and other similar transactions, and any deposit to which Chime deems to not be a Qualifying Direct Deposit, are not Qualifying Direct Deposits.
Qualifying Purchases mean the dollar amount of purchases made with your Chime Visa® Card for goods and services at a merchant everywhere Visa® debit and credit cards are accepted, minus returns and other credits. Qualifying Purchases exclude cash advances, ATM withdrawals, over-the-counter (“OTC”) withdrawals, gift cards, disputed transactions, unauthorized or fraudulent transactions, tax payments, transfers to third party payment accounts, money transfers of any kind, wire transfers, ATM charges, travelers checks, money orders, foreign currency payments, casino gaming or gambling, cryptocurrency purchases or funding, rent payments, bill payments, payments to securities broker dealers, or any other transactions that Chime may determine in its sole discretion are not eligible.
Timing and Dates. For the purposes of this Offer, all dates and times are recorded in Pacific Time (PT). “Day 1” is defined as the calendar day on which you successfully enroll in and open your Account, as determined by Chime’s systems in Pacific Time. This applies regardless of the time zone in which you are physically located at the time of enrollment. For example, if you enroll at 10:00 PM PT on April 19th, your “Day 1” is April 19th, even if it is already 1:00 AM ET on April 20th in your local time zone. Each subsequent Eligibility Period begins at 12:00:00 AM PT on the first day of that period and ends at 11:59:59 PM PT on the final day of that period. To count toward an Eligibility Period, a Qualifying Purchase must be completed and settled between 12:00:00 AM PT on the first day and 11:59:59 PM PT on the last day of the respective Eligibility Period.
When You Will Receive Rewards. Each reward will be awarded separately. Rewards are paid after each Eligibility Period ends, provided all requirements for that Eligibility Period were met. Rewards will be transferred to your Account within ten (10) calendar days after the conclusion of the respective Eligibility Period (“Payout Window”).
*Your Account must have a balance greater than $0 before rewards may be transferred.
Settlement of Qualifying Purchases. Only Qualifying Purchases that have moved from a “Pending” status to a “Settled” (Posted) status by the expiration of the Eligibility Period will be counted toward the minimum Qualifying Purchase threshold for the applicable Eligibility Period. Transactions generally post within one (1) to five (5) business days after initiation; however, posting times may vary because Chime cannot post your transaction until the merchant submits it for payment. Chime recommends completing your Qualifying Purchases well before the final days of each Eligibility Period to allow sufficient time for transactions to post. If your total settled Qualifying Purchases for an Eligibility Period fall below the required $1,000.00 threshold, you will not earn the reward for that Eligibility Period.
Credits of $10 or more will be reported on tax form 1099-INT.
Expiration and Forfeiture
Earned rewards do not expire. Any earned rewards for this Offer that have not been transferred to your Account will be forfeited if your Account is closed for any reason.
Other Conditions
Chime reserves the right to take action if it sees evidence of fraud, abuse, misuse, or suspicious activity, as determined by Chime in its sole discretion. Such action may include but not be limited to:
- Disqualifying you from this Offer
- Suspending or closing your Account
You acknowledge that this Offer is a promotional offer as to which no consideration has been paid to you and that rewards earned, but not yet paid, have no cash value. Unless and until the rewards are transferred to your Account, no tangible or intangible right, title, or interest in the rewards has been earned. Nothing herein requires Chime to transfer any rewards to your Account if this Offer has been canceled, terminated or suspended.
You may only participate in one Chime account opening bonus promotion when you open your Account. This Offer cannot be combined with any other Chime account opening bonuses.
Other Terms
Chime reserves the right to change these Offer Terms at any time in its sole discretion without prior notice to you. Changes to these Offer Terms may include, among other things, amending eligibility requirements, imposing additional restrictions, modifying the Offer expiration date, or terminating the Offer. No new Account enrollments are eligible for this Offer after the expiration of the Offer.
