MyPay Waitlist Terms and Conditions
By adding your email to the MyPay waitlist webpage or selecting the waitlist option in the Chime mobile app to sign up for the MyPay waitlist, you are requesting information, including emails, on MyPay and the MyPay waitlist, agreeing to these terms and conditions, and representing that you live in an eligible state where MyPay is offered. The states and district MyPay is eligible in include: AL, AK, AZ, CA, DE, DC, FL, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MS, MO, NC, NE, NH, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WV. If you are selected from the MyPay waitlist, live in a state where MyPay is offered, have a Chime Checking Account (“Checking Account”) in good standing, have activated your physical Chime Visa® Debit Card, secured Chime Credit Builder Visa® Credit Card, or secured Chime Cash Rewards Visa® Credit Card, and meet the MyPay eligibility and available advance requirements, you will have early access to MyPay.
Your eligibility to use MyPay and the credit limit that may be available to you are subject to the requirements in the MyPay Agreement for The Bancorp Bank members and the MyPay Agreement for Stride Bank members. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee that you’re eligible for MyPay. Eligibility for MyPay will be assessed prior to selection from the waitlist.
How does the MyPay waitlist work?
- If you are not a Chime member and live in a state where MyPay is offered, begin the waitlist process by adding your email to the designated field on the MyPay waitlist webpage. You will be added to the waitlist once you open a Checking Account and we confirm you live in a state where MyPay is offered. If you are a Chime member and live in a state where MyPay is offered, join the waitlist from your Chime mobile app by following the in-app instructions. If you enter your email associated with your Checking Account through the MyPay waitlist webpage, you will be prompted to log in to your Chime mobile app for more details on how to join the waitlist, if eligible.
- If you are not a Chime member, you will have to open a Checking Account to be added to the waitlist. You must have a Checking Account to access MyPay. Signing up for a Checking Account does not guarantee selection from the waitlist, and Checking Accounts are subject to approval by the account issuing bank. You must fulfill MyPay eligibility requirements to access MyPay.
- Once you’re on the waitlist as a Chime member, we’ll send you an email confirmation. You can check your Chime mobile app to see your place in line in real time.
- Move up the waitlist with these optional steps.
- Refer friends to Chime and move up the waitlist. Once the referred friend uses your unique referral link to successfully sign up for Chime, you will move up the waitlist. You may also move up the waitlist if the referred friend sets up and receives a Qualifying Direct Deposit with Chime.
- If you’re already a Chime member and have not set up a Qualifying Direct Deposit with Chime prior to joining the waitlist, you can do so to move up the waitlist.
- Signing up for a Checking Account, successfully referring friends to Chime, and/or setting up a Qualifying Direct Deposit with Chime does not guarantee access to MyPay.
A Qualifying Direct Deposit is a single deposit of $200 or more by Automated Clearing House (“ACH”) that comes from your employer, payroll provider, gig economy payer, or government benefits payer OR a deposit by Original Credit Transaction (“OCT”) from your gig economy payer. Bank ACH transfers; Pay Anyone transfers; verification or trial deposits from financial institutions; peer to peer transfers from services such as PayPal, Cash App, or Venmo; mobile check deposits; cash deposits; and one-time direct deposits, such as tax refunds and other similar transactions are not Qualifying Direct Deposits.
Your place in line may change from time to time. Chime reserves the right to determine eligibility to place you on the waitlist and/or move you up on the waitlist based upon predetermined internal criteria. Your position or inclusion on the waitlist does not guarantee eligibility for MyPay. Check the MyPay Agreement for The Bancorp Bank members and the MyPay Agreement for Stride Bank members for more information on MyPay eligibility criteria. Chime reserves the right to cancel or modify these terms or terminate the waitlist at any time with or without prior notice.
MyPay is offered by The Bancorp Bank, N.A. or Stride Bank, N.A. and is currently only available to members who live in eligible states. The list of eligible states can be found in the MyPay Agreement for The Bancorp Bank members and the MyPay Agreement for Stride Bank members. Chime reserves the right to deny access to the MyPay waitlist or selection off the waitlist due to other reasons, such as technical issues or restrictions based upon internal policies.
Certain restrictions and eligibility requirements apply for MyPay. See the MyPay Agreement for The Bancorp Bank members and the MyPay Agreement for Stride Bank members for full MyPay details. Learn how we collect and use your information by visiting the Chime privacy notice here.
