In order for the individual to qualify for and receive the $35.00 enrollment reward, the following conditions must be met: the individual must not have previously opened a Chime Spending Account (“Account”); they must be one of the first 100,00 individuals to open an Account using the enrollment reward webpage after January 22, 2021; and the Account must receive a total of $500.00 or more in qualifying direct deposits within 45 days from when the Chime Spending Account was opened. The qualifying direct deposit must be made by the individual’s employer, payroll provider, or benefits payer by Automated Clearing House (ACH) deposit. Bank ACH transfers, Pay Friends transfers, verification or trial deposits from financial institutions, peer to peer transfers from services such as PayPal, Cash App, or Venmo, mobile check deposits, and cash loads or deposits are not qualifying direct deposits. The reward is paid to the individual’s Account within seven (7) business days after qualifying funds are first deposited into the individual’s new Account. This reward cannot be combined with any other enrollment bonuses, including a referral reward. Chime reserves the right to cancel or modify the terms of the enrollment reward offer or terminate the member’s eligibility at any time with or without prior notice. Credits of $10 or more will be reported on tax form 1099-INT for new member. Banking services are provided by The Bancorp Bank or Stride Bank, N.A., Members FDIC.
