VOID IN PUERTO RICO AND WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

1.          SPONSOR: The #ProgressWithChime x T-Pain Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Chime Financial, Inc., PO Box 417, San Francisco, CA 94104 (“Chime” or “Sponsor”).

2.          GENERAL: The Sweepstakes is subject to these official rules (“Official Rules”) and all applicable federal, state and local laws. Entry into this Sweepstakes constitutes your acceptance of these Official Rules. Limit one (1) entry per entrant per social channel or one (1) Alternative Method of Entry (“AMOE”) per entrant per social channel during the Sweepstakes, as described in Section 5 below.  There will be one (1) Grand Prize winner and four (4) First Prize winners, (hereinafter, each a “winner”) selected in a random drawing at the end of the Promotion Period from among all eligible entries received.

3.          TIMING: All times appearing in these Official Rules are Pacific Time (“PT”). The entry period for the Sweepstakes begins April 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM PT and ends April 17, 2024, at 11:59 PM PT (“Entry Period”). As described in more detail in Section 6 below, Sponsor will conduct a single drawing to randomly select a total of one (1) potential Grand Prize winner and four (4) potential First Prize winners from among all eligible Entries, as defined in Section 5 below, received during the Entry Period. Such drawing will occur immediately after the Entry Period.

4.          ELIGIBILITY:  Open to all legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (“U.S.”) and District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older (or age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is greater) (“Entrant”). Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited. Individuals employed by Chime Financial, Inc. (“Sponsor”), The Bancorp Bank, N.A. or Stride Bank, N.A., their affiliated companies, subsidiaries, Chime Financial Inc.’s business partners including the Dallas Mavericks, Nappy Boy Entertainment and Faheem Rashad Najm (aka “T-Pain”), Tiffany Aliche (aka “The Budgetnista”), Neighborhood Trust Financial Partners (“TrustPlus™”), Don Jagoda Associates Inc., or advertising and promotion agencies (collectively “Sweepstakes Parties”) at any time during the Entry Period or, if a winner, as of the date of prize fulfillment, and members of their immediate family (parent, child, sibling or spouse of any of the foregoing) or persons living in the same household (those living in the same household for at least 3 of 12 months preceding the Entry Period), are not eligible.

5.          HOW TO ENTER: There are two (2) methods of entry (“Entries”) for eligible Entrants. There is no requirement that a prospective Entrant be a Chime Member (defined below) in order to enter. See below for details and Entry methods.

A.   Entry Method One (1): Social Media with $ChimeSign

1. Visit www.tiktok.com/@chime and/or www.instagram.com/Chime (each a “Social Media Channel”, or collectively “Social Media Channels”) during the Entry Period;
2. Comment tagging a friend you want to level up your financial literacy with, include your $ChimeSign, and the hashtag #ProgressWithChime in the comments of the relevant Sweepstakes post. By using #ProgressWithChime in your comment you are agreeing to be bound by these Official Rules.  To find your $ChimeSign, navigate to the settings tab in your Chime app; and
3. Follow Chime on TikTok @Chime and/or Instagram @Chime.

B.   Entry Method Two (2): Alternate Method of Entry

1. Visit www.tiktok.com/@chime and/or www.instagram.com/Chime (each a “Social Media Channel”, or collectively “Social Media Channels”) during the Entry Period;
2. Comment tagging a friend you want to level up your financial literacy with, include the hashtag #ProgressWithChime in the comments of the relevant Sweepstakes post. By using #ProgressWithChime in your comment you are agreeing to be bound by these Official Rules; and
3. Follow Chime on TikTok @Chime and/or Instagram @Chime.

All Entrants are limited to one (1) Entry per Social Media Channel for a total of two (2) Entries if Entrant chooses to enter on both Social Media Channels during the Entry Period. Entries on one Social Media Channel do not qualify Entrants for Entry on any alternative Social Media Channel. Only the person who does the tagging will be entered for a chance to win. If selected as a winner, tagged friend is not required to be designated guest on the Grand Prize Trip defined below.

If a prospective Entrant does not have a TikTok and/or Instagram account, one can be created at no cost at  www.tiktok.com or www.instagram.com. Please note that a prospective Entrant must agree to comply with the TikTok and/or Instagram Terms of Service and Privacy Policy in order to create a TikTok and/or Instagram account and then participate in this Sweepstakes through social media. This Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with TikTok or Instagram.  TikTok and/or Instagram account must be made public (privacy setting set to “Off”) and, if selected as the winner, must have the ability to receive a direct message from @chime in order for the submission to be a valid Entry. As applicable, normal internet/phone access and usage/data charges imposed by Entrant’s online/mobile service will apply.

In addition, no post or account may contain any offensive or vulgar content or depict any pornographic or illegal act. Any post containing inappropriate content, as determined by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion, will be considered ineligible and will not be part of the Sweepstakes. By submitting an Entry, each Entrant agrees the Entry complies with these Official Rules. Each Entrant also agrees that Sponsor may disqualify the Entrant from the Sweepstakes if Sponsor believes, in its sole and absolute discretion, that a post fails to comply with these Official Rules. If Sponsor rejects any post, such post will be disqualified and will not be considered a valid Entry. Entries may only be made according to the method described above in Section 5. Automated posts (including but not limited to posts submitted using any robot, script, macro, or other automated service) are not permitted and will be disqualified. Only eligible Entries actually received by the Sponsor before the end of the Entry Period will be included in prize drawing. Illegible, unintelligible, incomplete, or garbled posts will be disqualified.

6.          HOW TO WIN

A.   SELECTION OF WINNERS: Immediately after the Entry Period, Sponsor will conduct a drawing to randomly select a total of one (1) potential Grand Prize winner and four (4) potential First Prize winners from among all eligible Entries received during the Entry Period. The date and time of the drawing will be determined by Sponsor in its discretion. Prize winners will be randomly selected among all eligible Entries received during the Entry Period.

B.         NOTIFICATION OF WINNING: By no later than ten (10) business days after the end of the Entry Period, the potential winners will be notified by Chime. Chime Members will receive an email notification at the email address associated with their Chime Checking Account. Potential winners who do not have a Chime Checking Account at the time of potential winner notification, they will receive a message on the Social Media Channel they used to enter the Sweepstakes.  Each potential winner then has forty-eight (48) hours from the time the message is sent to send a reply message to Chime. The 48-hour deadline to reply and claim a prize begins the moment Chime sends the potential winner a winner notification message. Failure to respond within forty-eight (48) hours of potential winner notification message being sent by Chime may result in disqualification, forfeiture of prize and an alternate potential winner may be selected. Potential Grand Prize winner will be required to verify their eligibility by digitally completing and securely signing a Declaration of Compliance, Liability Waiver, and a publicity release where legal, and submit the Declaration within forty-eight (48) hours of notification. Non-compliance within this time frame will result in such potential winner’s disqualification and an alternate potential winner may be selected. Each potential First Prize winner may be asked to verify eligibility and confirm their mailing address for purposes of prize fulfillment.

C.         PRIZES AND THEIR APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”):

One (1) Grand Prize: #ProgressWithChime x T-Pain trip package consisting of a four (4) day, three (3) night trip, for two (2) people (winner and one (1) guest to accompany the winner) to attend one (1) concert from T-Pain’s 2024 tour schedule (“T-Pain Concert”).  The T-Pain Concert date and location will be mutually agreed upon by the winner and Sponsor and is subject to ticket availability for the selected performance; the trip must occur no later than July 3, 2024.   Prize includes round-trip economy class air transportation for two (2) people from a major U.S. gateway airport nearest the winner’s home, transportation to and from the airport and hotel, transportation to and from the hotel and the concert, hotel accommodations (one (1) standard room, double occupancy), two (2) tickets to the T-Pain Concert, including a meet and greet session with T-Pain subject to availability, one (1) to be determined city tour, one (1) T-Pain autographed adult coloring budgeting book, one (1) Chime hoodie (size to be designated by Sponsor) and access to financial advising through TrustPlus™. Winners will be provided with information on how to access TrustPlus and specifics on membership duration directly from TrustPlus™. In addition to the aforementioned prize, $750 general spending allowance during the Grand Prize Trip and $1,800 that can be used toward the payment of income taxes associated with the prize will be awarded in the form of a one-time deposit to the winner’s Chime Checking Account.  Cash portion of the Grand Prize Trip will be deposited to the winner’s Chime Checking Account within twenty-four (24) hours of departure for the T-Pain Concert (collectively, the “Grand Prize Trip”). ARV of Grand Prize Trip: $8,550. Grand Prize Trip must be completed no later than July 3, 2024, or the winner will forfeit any rights to the Grand Prize Trip.  Actual value of Grand Prize Trip depends upon the city of departure, time of travel, any airfare fluctuations and/or current market conditions at time of prize fulfillment, and any difference between the stated ARV and the actual value, if any, will not be awarded.

If the winner is at least 18, but still considered a minor in their state or place of residence, the winner must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian on the Grand Prize Trip. If the winner and their guest are unable to travel on the dates specified by Sponsor for any reason, including not being able to comply with any public or private travel restrictions, such portion of Grand Prize Trip will be forfeited. Sponsor reserves the right to change the dates for the Grand Prize Trip. The winner’s guest must execute and return a Release of Liability and publicity release where legal, or other documentation as determined by Sponsor, prior to travel and they must be of legal age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence (and at least 18) unless a child or legal ward of winner; then winner will be required to execute and return such documents on behalf of such child or legal ward.

The Grand Prize Trip is subject to availability of hotel, airline schedules, and hotel availability and other conditions and restrictions including public health restrictions, as applicable. If the winner lives within 100 miles of agreed upon concert location, ground transportation to the Grand Prize Trip destination will be substituted in lieu of air transportation and the air transportation portion of Grand Prize Trip will not be awarded and no additional compensation or substitution will be provided. Airline flight times to be selected by Sponsor at its sole discretion and one or more stopovers may be required. Once the Grand Prize Trip has been booked, no change, extension or substitution of Grand Prize Trip dates is permitted except by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. Sponsor will not be responsible for any fees or additional charges resulting from any changes to itinerary or accommodations made by the prize winner and / or their guest. Seat locations to be determined by Sponsor. Tickets are subject to certain terms and conditions as specified by issuer thereon. Winner and guest must comply with all venue and event rules and regulations. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of such portion(s) of prize. Sponsor reserves the right to remove or deny entry to winner and any guest who engage in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person at the event. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or similar items once they are in the winner’s possession or in the possession of a guest. Sweepstakes Parties shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions, substitutions, or any acts or omissions whatsoever by the concert venues, airline(s), hotel, or other transportation companies or any other persons providing any of these services and accommodations to passengers, including any results thereof, such as changes in services or accommodations necessitated by same. The Grand Prize Trip conditions may be added or modified by companies providing those portions of the prize. The Grand Prize Trip conditions and restrictions stated in these Official Rules are not all-inclusive and may be subject to additional conditions and restrictions, which may be stated in these Official Rules and/or other prize documentation as designated by the Sponsor. If any portion of the Grand Prize Trip after booking is unable to take place as planned for any reason, including but not limited to, cancellation, scheduling conflicts, lockout, labor dispute, strike, inclement weather, a pandemic, a public health emergency, or any other event of force majeure, the remaining components of the prize will be awarded (and Sponsor’s obligation to the winner will be fulfilled).

The winner and their guest are responsible for obtaining any necessary travel documents, which may include, but not limited to, REAL ID, passport or other TSA-approved ID; visit www.tsa.gov for a list of TSA-approved IDs, as well as travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance), that they may wish to obtain for the Grand Prize Trip (at their own expense) and hereby acknowledge that the Sweepstakes Parties have not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance for the Grand Prize Trip. Winner and their guest must arrive at the designated U.S. gateway airport in time for the flight. All travel is subject to any and all advisories, restrictions or requirements instituted by the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, and / or the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, as required, including but not limited to passing one or more COVID-19 antigen or PCR screening tests, and testing negative for COVID-19 or having been vaccinated against COVID-19 (with an FDA or WHO-approved vaccine, if age-eligible), if so required. Travelers may also be required to execute any assumption of risk and/or other documents relating to COVID-19 or they may not be permitted to travel or attend any scheduled activities. The winner and their guest should also review any advisories or restrictions that may be in place for travel to destination city.

The cash portion of the Grand Prize Trip will be provided to the winner in the form of a single, one-time deposit to the winner’s Chime Checking Account upon arrival in the city of the agreed upon concert location; or as otherwise determined by the Sponsor.  If the potential Grand Prize winner is not a Chime Member when selected, the individual will have forty-eight(48) hours from the time Chime sends the potential winner notification message on the Social Media Channel they used to enter the Sweepstakes to request AND be approved for a Chime Checking Account. [LS1] [AP2] If the individual fails to respond or is not approved for a new Chime Checking Account the individual may be disqualified, Sponsor will choose another potential winner and the disqualified individual’s prize will be forfeited. [LS3] [AP4] There is no monetary cost associated with requesting a new Chime Checking Account and the winner is under no obligation to keep the new Chime Checking Account open after the prize is deposited. Out-of-network cash withdrawal fees apply.

Upon both the deposit of the cash component of the Grand Prize Trip to the winner’s Chime Checking Account and the completion of the Grand Prize Trip, Sponsor will be deemed to have awarded the prize to the winner with winner assuming full responsibility for the prize.

Four (4) First Prizes: #ProgressWithChime x T-Pain prize package consisting of one (1) T-Pain autographed adult coloring budgeting book, one (1) Chime hoodie (size to be designated by Sponsor), and access to financial advising through TrustPlus™.[LS5] [AP6]  Winners will be provided with information on how to access TrustPlus™ and specifics on membership duration directly from TrustPlus™[LS7] .   ARV of each First Prize: $300

The total ARV of all available prizes is $9,750.

Only prize components specified in the amount indicated will be awarded.  Prizes are non-transferable, with no cash redemption or equivalent. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component of equal or greater value should a prize or any component of a prize become unavailable.  Except as specifically provided herein, all applicable taxes and usage charges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner.  The value of prizes is taxable to winners as income. An IRS FORM 1099-MISC will be issued in the name of the Grand Prize winner for the actual value of the prize awarded if the actual value of the prize is $600 or more. All federal, state and local taxes, and any other costs and expenses associated with acceptance and use of a prize not specifically provided for in these Official Rules are solely the individual winner’s responsibility. Sponsor expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for injury or loss to any person or property relating to the delivery and/or subsequent use of prizes awarded.  Sponsor makes no representation or warranties concerning the appearance, safety or performance of any prize awarded.

D.   WINNER ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Potential winners must meet the eligibility requirements set forth in these Official Rules in order to qualify for a prize. If a potential winner is found to be ineligible; is not in compliance with these Official Rules; declines to accept the prize; does not comply with Sponsor’s instructions; or the prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize may be forfeited in Sponsor’s sole discretion. If a prize is forfeited, then the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner, selected in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible Entries received during the Entry Period, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor shall not be held responsible for any delays in awarding a prize for any reason. Each prize will only be awarded to a verified winner. Any unclaimed prizes will be awarded in a random drawing to be held as necessary.

7.          LIMITATIONS ON WINNING: There is a one (1) prize per Entrant limit across all Chime sweepstakes promotions conducted during the January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024, calendar year. Note: You are not a winner of any prize until you have been verified as a winner by the Sponsor.

8.          ODDS OF WINNING:  The odds of winning with respect to the prize drawing depends upon the number of eligible Entries received during the Entry Period as of the time of such drawing.

9.          RIGHT OF PUBLICITY RELEASE: Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes each Entrant’s consent to Sponsor’s and its agents’ use of Entrant’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown, and statements made by or attributed to them, in perpetuity, in any and all media now known or hereafter developed (including, without limitation, print, broadcast and Internet), for all legitimate business purposes including advertising and promotional activities without additional compensation, further payment, and/or consideration.

10.  MISCELLANEOUS CONDITIONS:  All Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.  By participating, Entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules, which shall be final and binding with respect to all issues relating to this Sweepstakes.  It is the Entrant’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all of the conditions contained in these Official Rules.  Sponsor is not responsible for any lost, late, misdirected, stolen, illegible, incomplete Entries, or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Website users, any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes, or any technical or human error, which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes Parties assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, Entries.  Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible for any problems, failures or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, email, players or browsers, on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, at any website, or on account of any combination of the foregoing.  Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible for any injury or damage to participants or to any computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Sweepstakes. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes, or whom Sponsor believes to be causing malfunction, error, disruption or damage will be disqualified.  CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.  Sponsor reserves the right to correct any typographical, printing, computer programming or operator errors.

If for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sweepstakes Parties which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes or any element thereof (including, without limitation, these Official Rules) without notice in any manner and for any reason (including, without limitation, in the event of any unanticipated occurrence that is not fully addressed in these Official Rules). In the event of cancellation, modification, or suspension, Sponsor reserves the right to select winners in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect Entries received prior to the time of the event warranting such cancellation, modification, or suspension. Notice of such cancellation, modification, or suspension will be posted on the Website and/or Sponsor’s website at Sponsor’s discretion. Sponsor may prohibit any Entrant or potential entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes, if such Entrant or potential entrant shows a disregard for these Official Rules; acts with an intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other Entrant, Sponsor, or Sponsor’s agents or representatives; or behaves in any other disruptive manner (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion). Sponsor reserves the right to modify these rules for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the Sweepstakes.

By participating in this Sweepstakes, each Entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Sweepstakes Parties and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, representatives, agents and employees, from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with, either directly or indirectly from: 1) the awarding, acceptance, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize awarded herein; or 2) participation in the Sweepstakes or any prize related activities.

12.  Arbitration and Choice of Law: Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrant agrees that (1) any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and held at the AAA regional office nearest the Entrant’s residence; (2) the Federal Arbitration Act shall govern the interpretation, enforcement and all proceedings at such arbitration; and (3) judgment upon such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Under no circumstances will Entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys’ fees, other than Entrant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes), and Entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.  All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Entrants and Sponsor in connection with this Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of California, USA without regard to California’s choice of law rules.

13.  WINNERS LIST: To obtain an official list of the names of the winners, send a self-addressed stamped business-size envelope to: #ProgressWithChime x T-Pain Sweepstakes Winners List, Chime, PO Box 417, San Francisco, CA 94104. Requests must be received by May 17, 2024, at 11:59 PM PT.

Vermont residents may omit the return postage.  Requests received after the close of the Sweepstakes Period will not be honored.
