Former Lyft Senior Director of Product Kristen Quinn, Affirm and Nova Credit Product leader Melanie Routh, join Chime.

Chime is thrilled to welcome two new vice presidents to our Product organization, Kristen Quinn and Melanie Routh. Their years of experience and dedication to customers will help Chime expand our offering to even more people and into new categories of financial services.

“Melanie and Kristen both bring storied careers creating and scaling industry-defining products rooted in a deep understanding of customers’ needs. We couldn’t be more enthusiastic to have them at Chime leading our consumer product teams.”

– Zach Smith, Chime Senior Vice President of Product.

Kristen joins Chime from Lyft, where she served as Senior Director of Product, focused on core product offerings including Lyft Business, Self-Driving vehicles and Lyft Shared (formerly Lyft Line), which expanded its reach by more than 10x under her leadership. Prior to her time at Lyft, Kristen was Director of Mobile Product Strategy at Walmart.

“I’m excited to become part of an organization that is so focused on our members and delivers life-changing products and services at such scale. I look forward to building more products for an even broader audience so Chime can bring financial peace of mind to all.”

– Kristen Quinn

Melanie joins Chime from credit reporting company Nova Credit, where she was Head of Product. She also previously served as Senior Director of Product Management at Affirm, where she launched their consumer Marketplace experience, which now accounts for over a quarter of the company’s transactions.

“I love that Chime is really making a difference for members, and I’m excited to lend my expertise as we expand our product offerings. I’ve dedicated my career to financial inclusion and to be driving product work at an organization that serves its community so authentically is a truly exciting opportunity.”

– Melanie Routh
