Tony Truong appointed VP of People Strategy, Operations, Technology, and Analytics at Chime

The transformational leader from Roku, Nike, and PayPal joins Chime’s People team

Chime® recently welcomed Tony Truong as its first VP of People Strategy, Operations, Technology, and Analytics. Tony joins Chime with a breadth of experience transforming HR functions, driving people strategies, and developing data-informed insights at scale across various industries, from big tech to growth startups. In his role, Tony will oversee strategy and planning, operations, technology, and analytics for the People team. He will report to Chime’s Chief People Officer Sarah Wagener.

Prior to joining Chime, Tony led the Global People Strategy, Operations, Technology, and Analytics function at Roku and previously led People Analytics and Workforce Strategy and Planning at Nike. Earlier in his career, Tony held leadership roles at PayPal, DocuSign, Pandora, Salesforce, and Cisco. In all of his roles, Tony has spearheaded HR strategies and practices that enable strategic workforce planning, drive organizational transformation, improve operational efficiency and employee experience, and deliver data-informed insights through people analytics.
