Chime’s VP of Brand and Creative, Orlando Baeza, Inducted into the AAF Advertising Hall of Achievement

The American Advertising Federation (AAF) has inducted Orlando Baeza, Chime’s Vice President of Brand and Creative, into its Advertising Hall of Achievement (AHOA)—one of the industry’s most prestigious honors.

The annual award recognizes a select group of leaders under 40 who are shaping the future of advertising through creative innovation, cultural impact, and values-driven leadership. Inductees are chosen through a highly competitive, multi-round process that includes peer nominations, executive recommendations, and final approval by a panel of judges. This year, only seven individuals were selected nationwide.

Baeza’s induction reflects more than two decades of work at the intersection of brand, culture, and community. Prior to joining Chime, he held brand and marketing leadership roles at Nike, Adidas, Activision, BuzzFeed, and Kajabi, where he helped scale category-defining platforms and campaigns. His work has consistently blended creative excellence with a deep focus on purpose and representation.

Under his leadership, in just the past year, the Chime brand team launched its award-winning financial progress month campaign, brought on new ambassadors like Cooper Flagg, and kicked off its biggest campaign of the year with Jason Momoa. Thanks to this work and much more, Chime was recently recognized as the #1 Banking brand by TIME magazine.

The AHOA honors not only what leaders build, but how they lead. Throughout his career, Baeza has been recognized for fostering inclusive teams, mentoring rising talent, and championing work that resonates across industries and communities.

Chime congratulates Orlando Baeza on this well-earned honor. His induction reflects the caliber of leadership guiding its brand and the influence its teams are having across the industry.
