Chime appoints Rachel Dorcelien as VP of People Growth, Performance & Experience

Former DoorDash and Comcast leader brings extensive expertise in talent development, employee experience, and culture to Chime.

Chime® is delighted to welcome Rachel Dorcelien as Vice President of People Growth, Performance, and Experience. With a proven track record of creating world-class programs to drive high performance and build culture at scale, Rachel brings deep expertise in designing integrated, values-based experiences across the entire employee lifecycle. Her background in change management, internal communications, and talent development positions her perfectly to architect the next evolution of the employee experience at Chime.

Rachel will play a critical role in shaping the overall employee journey at Chime, ensuring that each moment in the employee lifecycle helps Chimers thrive in their role, grow their career, and deepen their connection to Chime’s culture and values. In her role, she will oversee all aspects of the Chimer experience beyond direct team interactions, including new hire onboarding, learning and development, performance management, workplace experience, and Chimer experience programs and events.

Before joining Chime, Rachel led Employee Experience and Development at DoorDash, where she built and scaled numerous programs that drove culture and grew talent across the organization. During her tenure, she had a lasting impact on nearly every aspect of the employee journey, from launching the internal communications and employer brand functions to overseeing onboarding, learning and development, internal mobility, employee events, recognition, and workplaces. Before DoorDash, Rachel served as Senior Director of Organizational Change Management at Comcast NBCUniversal, where she also previously acted as Director of Communications for the company’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion function. Earlier in her career, she was a founding member of Brunswick Group’s Global Employee Engagement practice, where she specialized in organizational transformation.
