Cannes Lions award-winning marketing leader brings extensive experience from Nike, Adidas, Paramount Studios, and high-growth startups to drive Chime’s brand strategy.
Chime® is excited to announce Orlando Baeza has joined the company as Vice President of Brand. A recognized industry leader and Forbes 30 Under 30 alum, Orlando brings a unique blend of startup and global brand experience that will be instrumental in shaping Chime’s brand narrative.
In his role, Orlando will lead Chime’s brand function, overseeing brand strategy, social media, and strategic partnerships. He will report directly to Vineet Mehra, Chief Marketing Officer at Chime.

Prior to joining Chime, Orlando served as Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at Flock Freight, where he led marketing, sales, and customer success. His diverse experience prior to Flock Freight includes Marketing leadership roles at startups Kajabi and BuzzFeed, as well as key marketing positions at global brands including Nike, Adidas, and Activision, where he worked on major franchises like Call of Duty and Guitar Hero. He also led Brand Strategy at Paramount Studios, where he spearheaded marketing campaigns for blockbuster releases like Mission Impossible and Oscar-winning films like Fences.
Orlando’s industry impact has earned him numerous accolades, including a Cannes Lion award for his work at Flock Freight. He has also been named to Forbes’ 50 Most Entrepreneurial CMOs list and Adweek’s inaugural ‘Marketing Vanguard’ list in 2023 featuring the top 24 CMOs in the world.
