Great question! Any of the following deposits count as a qualifying deposit for MyPay:

  • Pay Anyone transfers
  • Verification or trial deposits from financial institutions
  • Peer-to-peer transfers from services like PayPal, Cash App, or Venmo
  • Mobile check deposits
  • Cash loads or deposits

Eligible? Try MyPay

If you’re eligible and you live in a state where MyPay is available, you’ll receive an email and a notification in your Chime app inviting you to enroll in MyPay. As a reminder, there is no credit check to enroll. Just follow the prompts!

Once you enroll in MyPay, you’ll be able to see your available now amount, which is the maximum amount you can take as an advance at any given moment. This amount accrues each day. You’ll also be able to see your credit limit, which is the maximum amount you can access in a pay period (in between pay days), up to $500.^

Most members’ credit limits start between $50 to $100, and can increase over time up to $500 depending on factors such as length and amount of your direct deposit activity.

FAQs

What if I used to have access to My Paycheck?

If you previously lost access to My Paycheck, we will let you know if MyPay becomes available in your state if you meet all eligibility requirements. Please note that if you previously had an unpaid outstanding My Paycheck balance before access was shut off, you will need to pay that balance before being able to enroll in MyPay.

Please contact customer service if you need help making a manual payment to clear your balance.

Are there other situations where I may lose MyPay access?

It is possible to lose MyPay access even if you have met the eligibility requirements. For example, you may not be able to access MyPay if your next direct deposit does not arrive within 36 days of your last direct deposit.
