Is Chime down right now?

Check the status page if you suspect Chime might be down. This page will list any current interruptions of Chime services, so you can see at a glance whether there are any problems.

If the status page shows that everything is up and running, chances are that Chime is working fine, and the issue may be with your network or device. In that case, you can try restarting your device or clearing your cache. Contact customer support for help if you’re still having trouble.

However, if you see reported issues on the status page, that means there’s a problem that our team is already aware of and working to fix. Check back later to see if the issue has been resolved.

We're here to help!

Whether you’re having trouble logging into your account, need help setting up direct deposit, or want to report suspicious activity, Chime’s customer service team is here to help.

1 To apply for Credit Builder, you must have received a single qualifying direct deposit of $200 or more to your Checking Account. The qualifying direct deposit must be from your employer, payroll provider, gig economy payer, or benefits payer by Automated Clearing House (ACH) deposit OR Original Credit Transaction (OCT). Bank ACH transfers, Pay Anyone transfers, verification or trial deposits from financial institutions, peer to peer transfers from services such as PayPal, Cash App, or Venmo, mobile check deposits, cash loads or deposits, one-time direct deposits, such as tax refunds and other similar transactions, and any deposit to which Chime deems to not be a qualifying direct deposit are not qualifying direct deposits.
